Iredell County Amateur Radio Emergency Services is composed of volunteer amateur radio operators.  We provide communications support to local organizations in times of emergencies.  Iredell County ARES is affiliated with the Amateur Radio Relay League (ARRL).

Iredell ARES will use N3FJP's WXSpots software to monitor the weather. Please download and install it if you have not already done so. You will need to add the group "NC Iredell" to communicate directly with the Iredell County group.

NWS has a new transmitter in Mooresville operating on the frequency of 162.525. This is a 1000 watt transmitter.
 
The Iredell ARES has changed our simplex frequencies. Check your email for the updated list. If you do not receive it, then send me a email and I'll be sure you get the updated list.
